Below you'll find all you need to know to set up and care for your Carbonrox. We are always trying to eliminate excess printing and packaging and keep things simple, so hopefully you'll find everything you need to know, right here.

Materials

We're really proud that every element of our packaging and product is recyclable, home compostable or biodegradable - right down to the packing tape we use! 100% plastic-free!

1. The "hairy stuff" is coconut fibre - we think it's a great way to upcycle a "waste byproduct" and a great alternative to those awful foam packing peanuts!
2. The bag that contains your rocks is made from corn, rice and potatoes and is certified by BPI (Biodegradable Products Institute), ABA Industrial and TUV OK compost HOME ensuring it meets the highest standards for home and industrial compostability. So compost away!
   
3. The box your order came in is fully recyclable, as is all the inner packaging material.
4. The glass bottle and dropper are fully recyclable.
5. Stay tuned for glass droppers with a bamboo cap as oppose to a plastic one - making the entire system 100% plastic-free!

Getting set up

1. Take your shell and find your perfect spot for it - we love ours on bedside tables, guest bathrooms, entrance hallways.
2. Open one vacuum-packed bag of your Carbonrox and place the rocks in your shell.
3. Sprinkle a few drops of water on your rocks to activate them for the first time - this jumpstarts the carbon dioxide adsorption process.
4. Open your chosen scent and add as many drops as you like to your rocks - for a softer, gentler scent we recommend 5 drops, for a stronger scent 10-15.
5. Enjoy! And top up your scent daily or weekly, depending on where you have it and how strong you like your space scened.
6. After 3 months, the rocks have finished absorbing all the carbon dioxide then can, so it's swap them out for a fresh batch - just repeat the same process above. When disposing of your old rocks, you can use them in your pots or gardens as planter rocks (they're actually a great source of magnesium for the soil), or throw them in your bin.
